Misrepresentation! Fruit of the Loom Shirt for $14.
My dad was in town visiting and was looking for a white undershirt. He bought a white cotton shirt at Cotton Basics that had a "Made in Oakland" sticker on it for $13.99. He was happy to spend that much to support American factories, American workers, and the local economy.
When he got back home (far from CA) he pulled the sticker off the back of the shirt and saw it was Fruit of the Loom, made in Ecuador! He called the store to ask for the manager, left a message with his complaint, and never got a call back. I wonder why...
For the record, this is illegal- it is misrepresentation and consumer fraud. If you shop here, be sure to peel off the stickers to make sure you know what you are getting!
