You cannot go wrong with Gordo Taqueria. Looking for a wonderful and fast lunch? Gordo's is the place to go. There is no wonder why there is a line out the door during lunch hours and often all day. Once you start going there you will not want to stop.

Great food. These days it is hard to great a great lunch at a great price. Gordos is the place to go for both. You can get a wonderful lunch fast and easy. I've been going there for years and it is just as good today as it was years ago. I think the same people are working there too so they must take really good care of their people. If you are in the area you have to stop by.

Great, great , great. Been coming here for 20+ years, well not this location, but the one on Solano. Fast, quality, tasty. They haven't increased their prices very much over the past 20 years like most places. You can still get a super burrito with guac for under $6. The only thing that I would like them to improve on is to grill the tortillas instead of steaming them. This place is what consistency is all about. There once was a place called "Taqueria de Berkeley" near the California Theatre and that was the best burrito that I've ever had. It went out of business over 10 years ago, but they grilled the tortilla first. Everything there was homemade by the owner. Gordo as well as Picante are excellent choices for Mexican for under $10. No need to go anywhere else unless you want to try Taqueria Cancun in San Francisco...not the Cancun in Berkeley which is where the portions are smaller and the prices higher.

great prices and food. some of the best burritos and tacos I've been able to find on this side of the bay! Staff could be a little friendlier. I've been going there on a regular basis for 8 years, I've never once had an employee have any hint of recognition towards me when I go there. A smile and a greeting couldn't hurt, but whatever...

yummy burritos. Their burritos are awesome. It has to be the meat; it's so moist. And Gordos is very inexpensive, super burritos for less than five dollars? You can't go wrong.

Good Mexican Grub. Gordos consistently delivers quality mexican food at a super reasonable price.
