pleasant stay. last weekend, my husband and i went to berkeley to attend his cousin's wedding. when we got to the hotel, the front door was locked but after we rang the doorbell, we got buzzed in. we followed a sign upstairs to the front desk and got our keys.

the room was very simple but clean and comfortable and quite inexpensive. if in berkeley, we would stay there again. thank you

Great value, family owned hotel!. The staff was very friendly and was very accomodating. I stayed in a room on the third floor facing University Ave. and it was a pleasant stay. Comfortable bed, mini fridge/microwave, complimentary coffee.

A true gem! I have recommend this place to my friends

Great place!. great place! make a reservation first. not too expensive, and great for large groups. there are even extra showers! very clean. high-speed Internet. HD tv. microwave. fridge. closet. above a big laundry facility.

we only stayed for one night, but would go back.

fantastic hotel. located in the heart of downtown berkeley. this is a small family owned hotel. the staff is always happy and nice. they lived in the bay area for a long time, so they are knowledgeable and able to answer all the questions i had. besides that, this is one of the cheapest hotels in berkeley. for a beautiful and clean room, it is definitely worth the stay. i recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking for an inexpensive hotel that has wonderful customer service.
