In Short – At street level, the high-ceilinged main room hosts an open kitchen at one end, a main bar and drinking space at the other. Brick walls and a massive painting of a thirsty bear make Cal students feel at home. A dungeon-like downstairs exudes a garage-rock feel with exposed pipes, low ceilings, ultra-black walls and vintage video games. Couches and soft lighting help the shabby-chic loft feel perfectly boho and coffeehouse cool. –

Thought that people should know that there is a decent nightclub on this side of the bay. Went out on a Thursday night with three friends, had some drinks (the bartender was excellent!!) then went downstairs to the club. Really good DJ and a diverse crowd. We danced till it hurt, mostly Hip Hop and Pop music...really high energy...it was a really fun night!
- Pros: music, drinks, people
- Cons: , a few strange people
Thursday Night

My friends and I went last Thursday night, we had no idea Blake's also had a dance club downstairs. The drinks were definitely on the strong side, the people were cool and the music was good. Better than any Hip Hop night I've been to in the city.
- Pros: Music, Drinks, Inexpensive
