All you can eat Indian Buffet..
All you can eat Indian Buffet.
The food is good, NOT great, but good.
It is very filling, the $8 price is quite reasonable for lunch.
They are very conveniently located in downtown Berkeley.
The food selection is somewhat limited.
Not the best food, but OK.
It is a good place to go if you want a lot to eat.…
ViceRoy is an awful restaurant for lunch !!!. I don't recommend this restaurant for lunch at all ! The buffet lunch is way too salty in all of their dishes. The spinach stew and the rest are very runny, as if they just add water and salt to save money. The staff just ignore you and chat in their language as if they are at home. No wonder there is nobody there for lunch when I went there recently at noon, the peak lunch time in Berkeley.…
Thumbs way up!. We had a great time there. I went there with my family. We were promptly seated, were greeted by a very curtious waiter. The Food was great and the service was good, I highly recomend it to everyone. Its the best indian food I had in the bay area so far. Chicken Tikka masala and Lamb Palak are really superb.…
Overpriced, poor service. Silverware looked really dirty. Found hair in the saffron rice. Rice was not fresh. Lamb masala was too salty; we picked out all the burned- black onions. Vegetable dish in the thali tasted like it had been burned. Kheer was scooped from container sitting out on the buffet and tasted bland. Heard other table complain about mixed up orders. Long wait after meal even though we were only 1 of 2 customers, and after dessert waited long so just got up to pay the check. Place is large but would not recommend for the food and service, considering it's overpriced ($10-22).…
Poor.
The chicken dish on the buffet was so salty that it could barely be eaten.
And when's the last time you encountered a restaurant that didn't offer a child's price for the buffet? The owner says that paying full price for the child makes up for the people that come in and eat too much.
Well forget you! We ain't coming back.…
