Gypsy's Trattoria Italiana

Good Food, but .............. I've been to Gypsys three times and the first two times were great. On the third night, our dishes were mediocre. Normally, I wouldn't complain but the food was so off that I decided to bring it to the attention of the manager. Standing in front of me was a young man who was asking the manager it he had been served the correct food. The manager exploded, called the young man a N...ger and looked as if he was going the strike the young man. I was so stunned at the manager (who I've learned is also the owner) that my wife and I paid the bill (without eating the food) and left. Other patrons left as well. Every restaurant in entitled to a couple of off nights for food, but the owner/manager's attitude was inexcusable. My wife and I will never eat there again.…

Great food, good price!. My favorite dish is the Gypsy's Chicken (with garlic and pasta). It is flavorful and delicious! The food portions are generous. I've ordered the Calzone which can easily be two meals. Can get pretty busy so best to avoid the usual lunch hours.…
