I have never been let down at the Used Computer Store. They have the best prices and friendly service that answer all your questions so you can understand ! They should be rated number one in my book !

I had an issue with a computer that I wanted to trouble shoot by buying a replacement power cord. (In case the problem was the cord, not the computer.) The gentleman here advised that I could feel for warmth in the cord block to test whether the cord was functional, rather than replacing it. The issue was probably the computer itself rather than the cord. He advised not buying the cord, but just bringing in my computer to test it.

I really appreciated his frank advice. He didn't need to close a sale. He just wanted to help.

These guys were great ! I've bought three different computer systems from them over the years and they've always been helpful. I travel all the way from SF just to buy from them. In fact, I'm going back again this week to get a new laptop.

For those techies in the know, this store has been in the area for a long, long time. It's a great resource for parts and accessories that are no longer sold in new computer stores. This location offers parts and accessory sales on the first floor and an internet cafe on the second floor. The sales people are pretty knowledgeable too.

I really love this store. I know it's gotten mixed reviews on here but every time I've been there, I've come back very satisfied. Same goes for everyone I've sent there. The owner is awesome, and will work with your schedule to make sure that you're not unduly inconvenienced by the repairs you need to get. Case in point: I had to get my laptop fixed after spilling some water on it and he kindly scheduled it so that I only had to give up my laptop for just-about 10 hours!

I know there are complaints on here that the service isn't much to holler about, or that the products aren't very great, but I've been here countless times and I've always come back satisfied. It's a small store though so I guess you just have to be a little more pro-active about what you want/need.

One of the friends I sent there didn't need her laptop back urgently so she got hers back only after 3 days. When I had to get my keyboard fixed, it took forever for them to get the replacement keyboard in, but once they had it, it took a little less than 2 hours from drop-off to pick-up. The owner is really, really helpful (and knowledgeable), and will go over things in detail with you even if you're not getting anything. And he's not out to make a quick buck either; he's never recommended something overpriced to me at the expense of something equivalent that's cheaper.

The downside though is that yes, you do have to wait your turn for service, sometimes for up to 10 minutes, but the prices here are waaaay cheaper than the Mac store so I've got no complaints.

SO GLAD to find this store. SO GLAD to find this store and discover it was open until 8 pm. Read the most recent review which was great, but a little concerned about the lesser reviews.I called anyways and chatted with Jeff. He put me on hold to check the inventory to make sure he had the correct charger before I drove over from Oakland. The price was appropriate. When I arrived he grabbed the charger, ensured that it worked properly, and reminded me that there was a 90 day warranty.
