The Scene
After observing the massive brewing machinery at work--viewable through ceiling-high windows--peruse the jukebox's alternative, KALX-style rock tunes. The simple, antique wood bar, classic brewery signs and giant, corroded sign beaming "LUNCH" create an old-time tavern feel. Naturally finished wood is ever-present in the tall booths, wood paneling and floors. The small, rather plain upstairs deck is a pleasant surprise.
The Draw
From the subtly smoky Red Rock Ale to the golden, aromatic IPAX, the 10 to 12 rotating beers on tap display expert brewery skills. The fresh, down-home eats attract an easygoing lunch and after-work/school crowd. A pint goes perfectly with the half-pound Angus burgers, flavorful beer-steamed dogs or freshly cut french fries.

Triple rock is a sweet neighborhood pub, with excellent microbrew beer and more than decent eats. They stick to classic brewery fare, and do a good job at it. A great place to watch the game and enjoy great beer.

Just OK. The food is not great but good. Nothing special about the beer. The atmosphere is typical sports bar or saloon. Could be fun with the right crowd.

This place is fun. Good beer, great bar food, sandwiches. It gets a little crowded and sometimes you have to wait for a table to pounce on. It's not outstanding, but good for what it is.

Know Before You Go:
Sun-Mon, the kitchen is open until 10:30pm; Tue-Wed until 11pm; and Thu-Sat until midnight.
Save Money:
On Tuesdays, pitchers are $2 off and the jukebox is free. On Thursdays, one of Triple Rock's biggest nights, college students pack in for $8 liter bottles of Monkey Head Arboreal Ale.
Parking:
If you have no luck with street parking, there is a pay lot around the corner.
