In Short – Founded in 1901 in Chicago by Charles R. Walgreen Sr., this neighborhood pharmacy has grown to be one of the nation's largest drugstore chains. Each store carries 25,000 different items--from cleaning products to electronics and greeting cards. Store features include a computerized system connecting pharmacies nationwide via satellite, grocery-store food aisles, one-hour photofinishing and an automated phone system for prescription refills and pre-arranged pickup times. Other services include in-store flu shots and childhood immunizations.

I am not anti-Walgreens, but I've given this one many chances (since it's the closest one to my house), and it always disappoints.
Twice recently, I've had to go the the Foothill Walgreens after trying my luck at this one. The first time, it was for a speedy prescription (I was quoted 3 hours), and the next time, their one hour photo couldn't get me a photo in less than several hours because only one of their machines was working. I really needed a passport photo RIGHT THEN, and for the second time, the other Walgreens was there for me.
In summary, avoid this Walgreens if you need something specific, or need to be somewhere. You'll be extremely frustrated otherwise.
- Pros: Open 'till Midnight
- Cons: Nothing ever goes right here.
