In Short
Diners place their orders at the counter, grab a table and wait for generously portioned dishes to arrive at this bustling eatery. Sweet and savory crepes are available all day long, as is breakfast, which includes updated dishes, like benedictions--twists on the classic Eggs Benedict--and hearty three-egg scrambles. Sandwiches, like the North Beach, a roasted vegetable and pesto-slathered bagel, and the Bodega Bay, a tuna melt with Dijon mustard, show off San Francisco flavors.

walk right up to the counter and order from the wide variety of crepe's. from hot to cold to desert style they all are very good. it's so hard to decide what to get so its best to share with others that way you can try more then one kind.

Wonderful variety of food. Lots of vegan / vegetarian options. Food is fresh, delicious, plentiful, reasonably priced. Casual atmo includes a few outdoor tables. Harried staff, but the job gets done. Noisy and busy, especially on the weekend. Prepare to wait a while. So worth it!

This is my idea of healthy eating--not necessarily low-fat or low carb, but not processed and cooked on the spot. The savory crepes come with yummy potatoes and a nice, lightly dressed salad. There are also a number of egg dishes, sandwiches, and large salads, and of course sweet crepes for dessert. Though there is some variety in the form of the food, it's not hard to see that you're mostly getting the same ingredients in different guises. Since this is the Bay Area, that means a lot of veggies and quasi-ethnic stuff: avocados, olives, feta, etc. It stays open later than most places in the area--10 or 11 on most nights. Vegetarian friendly. Free refills on some drinks. AC Transit #51, a block south of Rockridge BART. PROS: Long hours CONS: CASH ONLY
