PHENOMINAL FIND. This little diner is my new favorite place in Rockridge! I've lived here for 4 years, and have never gone in -- expecting it to be just average. Boy, was I WRONG. This little diner out performs most of the restuarants in the area for quality and price. You just can't go wrong. True, they don't take credit cards, but with these prices, and the generous portions, you won't mind that it's cash only.

For $7.70, I got a BLT with avocado -- LOTS of avocado -- and GOOD, FRESH avocado; fruit; french fries and your choice of soup or salad. And the salad was hearty with seven different vegetables on it and a tasty, tasty, raspberry dressing.

Try the Claremont Diner -- at least once, and you'll be going back again!
