Whoops.
Fond memories couldn't rescue the average entrees at higher than average prices. My $12 squab appetizer arrived *without* the fois gras and the staff didn't bother to replate it...
Citron missed the mark for us and didn't deliver the value in service or taste sensation. Deadly when there are plenty of alternatives that do...

Nice work.
I like this place a lot. The place offers great food choices and also a great prefix which is pretty affordable. I also like the fact that you can go and grab a drink next door at A'cote and wait if they are busy.

Go next door!. A limited menu can be fine if the dishes are special and the execution is suberb. Our meal was ordinary and DEFINITELY not worth anywhere close to the price. The service was polite. Still, I have had many better meals consistently at A Cote (next door). If you are looking for an expensive and very nice meal in the area go to Garibaldi's or Marica's (though it is not really expensive) just down the street.

Really good food. The food here was great! A little pricy, but you definitely get what you pay for. They service was okay, but a bit too stuffy and formal for my tastes

Love Rockridge. This place rocks. It is small and intimate with a very nice comfortable feel. I have not hada bad meal there yet and never leave feeling like I was taken. Unlike Olivetos where I always feel ripped off. I recomend you ask for Chris and get him to help out with the wine selection.
