Editorial Review for Paramount Theatre – by Kevin Raub
In Short
This 3,000-seat theater, built in 1931 and fully restored in 1973, is a beauty. One of the greatest examples of art-deco architecture in the U.S., the theater's countless mosaics and floor-to-ceiling sculptures--many Egyptian in appearance--transport audience members to the time of the pharaohs. The Fountain of Light, a large (almost 35 feet high), illuminated, carved-glass composition, dominates the grand lobby, while every turn presents a new and fascinating sight to behold.

The seating is way to close.the comfort is like none and if your in the balcony you might as well get some binoculars.
