In Short – Cummerbunds, bow ties, cocktail dresses and champagne--revelers don't expect to see any of these at this semi-seedy palace. The vast array of Barbies (including Mattel's replica of Rex Harrison) and the Christmas lights that festoon the bar may lend a cluttered feel. However, the young, casually dressed clientele and blue-collar barflies make this an easygoing place to knock back a beer in a small lounge area or a separate room with a pool table and a mid-sized dance floor and stage. –
A Classic Rock and Roll Dive

The Stork Club is awesome! The new building is less rundown than the original over on 12th Street. The new place is decorated the same: Christmas decorations (year round), vintage Barbies and weird cowboy art. It's a great place to see local bands, often 3 or 4 a night , for cheap. You can see the bands from the bar in the next room and you can listen in the back while playing pool. This is a cool rock and roll bar and a must visit.
- Pros: entertaining, pool table, good jukebox
- Cons: bad mixed drinks
