In Short
This homey restaurant offers a variety of dishes that skillfully utilizes soy protein, wheat gluten, vegetables and nuts to mimic the meaty tastes and textures of regular Vietnamese and Chinese favorites. The fried fish in tomato sauce is properly flaky and covered in a spicy red-chili and raw cilantro sauce. Another hot number is the pineapple salmon, bathed in a zesty sweet-and-sour sauce. Also try the vermicelli with chewy roast pork and the tangy tamarind beef.

Me and my boyfriend have been to Golden Lotus about 4 times. The food is okay but the service is sooooooooo poor that it spoils your mood to enjoy the food and its expensive. One meal can easily cost u over $30.00 . It is also loud, and not peacful to enjoy your meal.

The food has been okay but not great. The last time I went in I found a long black hair in my entree and was so grossed out that I completely lost my appetite. I'm not sure I'll ever go back.
