...I felt violated, so went straight home and had a shower. For those of you that decide to 'give it a go', be aware that it's unlikely that you'll be returning.

In addition to all the negative comments from other folks here - which I experienced and saw for my own eyes... here's my summary of this strange place.

(I had booked a 'full body' massage)

As I sat in their dusty and shabby waiting area, I watched the massues come and go... and was shocked at their overweight, unattractive and unhealthy appearance. As I was dreading which one was mine, another appeared, even older and more ugly (sorry to use this term, but she really was a horror).

I was taken upstairs through which felt more like a doctor's office than a 'spring/spa'.

Technically, the massage was terrible... she basically 'rubbed' my body for 60mins. I did attempt to give some verbal direction, but the whole thing was too broken. It felt like I was being rubbed by someone's mother who'd read 'massages for dummies' the night before. It really was very bad.

I should have stopped it, but for some reason didn't.

As I left, I was asked if I would like to leave a tip, I declined but asked to speak with a manager. After a few minutes a personality-less man arrived and said he couldn't do anyting. So I asked for someone to call me the next day. This confused him, so he handed me the desk phone and suggest that I left a message with the business office. I insisted he get someone to call ME.

I went straight home and showered... I felt little violated. It was very unpleasant.

To compound matters, the next day 'a sharehold of the business' called. Right away, her tone was defensive. I explained how poor the massage was, but all she could do was talk over me and assert that no-one else had complained. She compared it to a cheese burger (she did) and that if I didn't like it I should have said spoke-up. It was all a bit surreal and angered me greatly. I did explain I wasn't looking for compensation but thought someone should know.... but again, she continued to defend.

I'm a fan of posting reviews, as I find them mostly useful. I post more good reviews than bad. If you're looking for a massage, I suggest 'Body Mind and Spirit Massage Therapy Center'‎ on College Av.

Waste of time and money. My experience was just as other negative reviews. The staff were rude on the phone and at reception. They didn't even raise their heads when I said good-bye. [This was at 9pm on a Sunday night. It was not crowded.] This is the very first place where I was asked to provide the tip up front. I had booked a "deep tissue massage". And I received what other reviewers received. Gentle pressure and no inclination to do otherwise. When I told the masseuse that I like a deeper massage, she asked, "Deeper than what?" Between the tip and massage, I paid nearly 100 bucks to be gently poked. Having to negotiate the teeny tiny spiral staircase after the massage was no fun either. I have heard good things about the private hot tubs, but on the weekend, there is a $30 minimum.

So Rude!. I have been here two times before and today was the last time I will ever go in. The private hot tubs are sort of nice as they are half outside and with the weather being cool this past week I made a reservation. I should mention that the last time we were there the hot tub was not as clean as it should have been and we probably should have left. When we got there today, we walked in and waited for a good 10 minutes for the lady at the front desk to get off the phone with what sounded like a personal phone call. When she finally approached us with a "what do you want" attitude I explained that we had a reservation. She flipped through some pages and said that we were not on her book. They had lost the reservation. I showed her on my cell phone when I had called and made the reservation. She told me that there was nothing she could do and that I probably never "actually" made a reservation. THEY TOOK MY CREDIT CARD INFO over the phone when I called to make the reservation! There was no apology, no care and no concern. She didn't even try to book another appointment or offer a different service. So given the fact that it was dirty last time and they were rude this time, we will never go back.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!!!!!. I booked a deep tissue massage and got a lot of rocking of my body and some lotion rubbed on my skin...with some compressions from the heel of her hand...I kept asking for some deep pressure and nothing....absolutely nothing...it's hard enough as it is to ask somebody to do something when they are massaging you...I was so frustrated!!!!! I should have just gotten up and left, but I kept hoping that she was going to do some ACTUAL massaging.....NOPE....AND TO MAKE IT WORSE...I told the front desk about my massage and they said..."well, maybe next time"....never ever again will I go there....................AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!

what a waste of time and money. I booked a deep tissue massage for my husband and a deluxe facial for myself. The massage was rather generic and the masseuse spent more time cupping my husband's ears than she did focusing on the part of his back he pointed out to her as knotted and tense. My facial was no better, taking 55 minutes from the time I entered the room until I left (that includes time to change my clothes). The facialist never told me what products she was using and why, gave me the quickest, lamest neck/arm/shoulder massage I've had with a facial, and nearly tore my face off during the extractions (using her nails). I didn't have bad skin going in, but now my face is red and blotchy. We WON'T be going back and we won't be recommending to our friends.

Bang for your buck. I have had two excellent massages here. One with Este and one with Karen G. I also did the combo room - which was very clean, and nice. Yes, the front desk staff aren't exactly warm and fuzzy but hey, the facilities are clean, the massages are great...and the prices are really good.

Hot Tubs too hot, but the massage was amazing. We spent the majority of our hot tub hour sitting outside of the tub wishing we could be in it - it was ridiculously hot. but otherwise very nice. When my masseuse came to pick me up for my massage she was surprisingly bitchy - i was worried that it would mean the massage would suck. but actually it was fantastic and overall a really great evening. Definately tell them what kind of massage you want when you make the reservation. otherwise, you could end up with someone specializing in something you don't like. I lucked out.

Felt like I was ripped off.. I was a first timer for a massage. Made reservation, no options were given for different styles. Arrived and asked about styles...they said "this is what you get." Front desk was not exactly warm and friendly. The massage felt like a "skin rub" with oil. I even told the masseuse that I had tense muscles in my upper back. Very little attention was given to that. Being a first timer, I didn't know what I was to do (as far as feedback). Masseuse didn't help or say a word during massage.

I left feeling aggravated and tense. What a waste of money and time. I won't be paying for a massage again any time soon...if ever.

Great 1st time experience. It was my first time at a spa. I booked for the combo room. My bf and I really liked the combo room. It's cozy enough for 2-4 people. Nothing better than relaxing in the tub under the stars. Staff was real courteous, place was clean, best price in town.
