going out of business. Sadly, Poppy is closing this fall! They were my favorite fabric store in the bay area with the best customer service, but you will now have to find another option: Britec in S.F. does have a better selection, but it is expensive and can be crowded (so hard to get help). Stone Mountain Daughter in Berkeley has terrible customer service (the staff can't stop chatting with each other to actually ring you out) and the floors are dirty. I will miss Poppy...
