The People Are Great. I have bought many furniture items from Uhuru. A group of friends and I visits the store almost every Friday afternoon before going to dinner. The people are great, helpful, funny. It's always a pleasure whether we buy something or not.

The Employees Are Very Helpful. Please shop here for a good cause and volunteers. The employees are very helpful. The furniture is also very nice and the workers are very knowledgeable about the items. Mark is your fun service guy.

A Greater Cause. Every time I've gone into the store, everyone has been helpful and always asks if I need anything. I think it is great, I know my money is going to a greater cause.

I Find Something Interesting. Almost everytime I stop by Uhuru I find something interesting to buy. Sometimes staff people are too busy to help me right away. I bought a large stuffed chair and ottoman at a great price which I enjoy every day.

Once I bought a platform bed and I didn't check it out very carefully. It worked for about one year and then fell apart. But for the price it was still a bargain.

I especially like the way in which knowledgable workers in the store put their heads together and decide on prices.

I volunteered. I volunteered and had a great time. Great way to get out and help this super organization. Everyone is very cool and appreciative. Lots of unique furniture and collectibles.

A serendipitous experience. Every time I come in I find a surprise and end up taking something home with me. Even when I do not find what I have come for it is always a serendipitous experience as the unexpected is always waiting for me.

They have what I need. I?ve stopped at Uhuru Furniture for those ?gotta have but don?t want to buy new? items. For some reason, they have what I need ? whether it?s a bed frame, bedside table or the perfect funky lamp, I always look at Uhuru first.

Highly recommended. Great friendly service ? a treasure trove of surprising & delightful finds. Highly recommended for casual browsing or fun/funky gifts!

Also, Uhuru is a great place to donate your gently used furniture. They have even been willing to swap for part of the price of a new piece.
