Excellent service. I took my car in for an insurance repair, to fix a dent that ran all the way down the side. AAA recommended them. They were nice, repairs done well, no problem. Then a few weeks later the passenger door wouldn't open from the outside. I'm used to fixing stuff like that myself, and it didn't occur to me at the time that it might have been related to the repair work. The fix turned out to be a bigger PITA than I was willing to deal with, and I decided to take it in, still not really thinking it was caused by the repair work. Tom looked at it, remembered that they had worked on it, and told me he'd see what he could do. It took a couple of days for the part to get in, but they fixed it and didn't charge me, even for the part. So I'm a happy camper. They do good work, they stand behind it, and they're nice guys to boot.

Great Service Best Price. Estimator gave me options for less expensive repair for an old car, which turned out great. I have used Arth twice and been fully satisfied both times. The staff is helpful, friendly, efficient and professional. The car was ready on time, clean and looked great. They are willing to make special arrangements for accommodate odd schedules, etc.

Reliable shop, great people. If it were possible to give six stars I would....maybe even ten stars. My car was rear-ended by a local attorney, who ended up being totally uncooperative and refused to return calls from his insurance company so they were taking an exceptionally long time to accept liability. The left lower corner of my bumper was crunched and made it so I couldn't open my trunk. I took my car to get an estimate from George V Arth & Sons as it was one of the shops contracting with the insurance company of the person at fault. The estimate was very reasonable. Because I couldn't open my trunk I decided to take the car in to get repaired before finding out if the insurance company would accept liability. I made the appointment on a Friday with Renee and found out that she had called the insurance company herself and given them an earful about how irresponsible they were being (THANK YOU RENEE!!!). We scheduled the appointment for Tuesday and she said the car would be ready in 24 hours. I dropped off the car on Tuesday morning and on Tuesday afternoon received a call from Ron letting me know that there was more damage so the estimate was lower than the charges would be. Hearing me get upset, Ron told me not to worry and said if the insurance company ended up not accepting liability he would negotiate a lower cost for me. That's pretty amazing coming from any business these days. The car was finished promptly the next morning. I picked it up later that afternoon and the work looked great. They had washed my car, the new piece of my car was shiny and looked like new and my trunk had been all fixed up. I was completely happy with the work. Ron and Renee were so fantastic to interact with. I will definitely bring my car back anytime something goes wrong whether or not they contract with my insurance.

George V. Arth and Son. I went with this shop as it is a direct shop for my insurance. i was leary because of its location, however I was assured by the insurance rep that it was a great place and family owned. I took my car there and it was a HUGE mistake. they appeared professional at first, however they were not. The repair was promised in 1 month and they took over 2 months. They did not follow up with me as to the status of the vehicle, I had to call once a week to find out myself. I took the car back 3 times for repair of their work and 5 months later, I am having to take it to another shop. My trunk is rusting and the paint job is horrible. There are specs of dirt under the paint, scratches under the paint fro the used parts they used. When they returned my car, there were black hand prints all over the interior and grease on the wheel and the interior door handles. They lost my car mats and my trunk attachment that hides things from people seeing in the trunk. I paid for the rental since the insurance only does 30 days. and when I broght the car back because of their lack of workmanship, they refused to rent me a vehicle, enterprise had to comp me as they thought that was wrong of the body shop. Bottom line, they are not members of the better b b (not allowed to write those initials) and I know why, they would have too many complaints. No ill feelings, just warning you not to go there and opt for somewhere else. Really, family owed since 1877 or not, I DO NOT RECCOMMEND THIS SHOP. WORKMANSHIP AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE.

Above and Beyond. I recently got into two accidents in two weeks and it took my insurance company about two months to settle everything. George V. Arth and Son was just one of the options and I picked them on a hunch. They had excellent customer service form the moment I spoke to them. They had my car done in 4 days (two accidents). I also had troubles with my rental car agency and Renee at George V. Arth and Son went above and beyond to get everything settled for me when it wasn't even her problem. And just to put a little more icing on the cake they removed some tape residue from a previously broken window...again not their problem. My car looked like a brand new car when I drove out of there.I was thoroughly impressed with their service!!! Highly recommend!
