Horrible Food- Go Elsewhere. We live very close to Siam Bay and love Thai food, so we keep going back and trying their food hoping that it will get better- but alas it does not.

The food is bland, the shrimp is always overcooked and they skimp on the best ingredients. They don't even know how to make a good Pad Thai.

Go somewhere else for good Thai food, because this is just not it.

Best Thai in the Bay. A friend of mine and I made plans to have an early dinner at a top Chinese Restaurant one evening but they were closed until 5:00. On whim we decided to go to Siam Bay (neither of us had been before). We were quite pleased with the service, food, and atmosphere. The food was delicious. I will go back again and again.

Great Food, Great Service. Siam serves wonderful dishes with such friendly service. The beef Larb had a nice lime tang to it. The Drunken Noodles were spicy and delicious! I also tried the Wild Curry with Beef....also nice and spicy with great flavors. The service is wonderful; the waiter was very attnetive and friendly. It suprised me that this place wasn't packed. It seems to be overshadowed by Le Cheval next door, unfortunately. If you are in the area, I recommend Siam Bay.

Very consistent food and service. I been to Siam Bay for lunch and it was the best deal in town for fresh food buffet. Returned for dinner and each time I have ejoyed the specials along with the excellent service.

Siam Bay. This is a great place. If you like spicy, they can make it spicy. They have authentic specials depending on the time of year or holiday. Its definitly one of the best Tai spot in the east bay.

Best Thai Restaurant in East Bay. Like many people, I went to Siam Bay after I could not get into Le Cheval. Ths place blew Le Cheval or any other Thai restaurant I have gone to out of the water. First off, it was not busy, very cozy, intimate atmosphere. Second, the staff is extremely friendly. Our server took the time to talk and joke with us during the entire meal. And finally, the food is amazing. I have tried the tofu in yellow curry sauce and the pad thai. Both are the best I've had. And the cherry on top is the price. Under ten bucks a person. You can't beat that.

A Jewel of a Restaurant. I'm on vacation in SF. Tried to get into Le Cheval but the wait was too long. Just on a whim, we decided to try Siam Bay next door and was pleasantly surprised. The service is the best, the staff is more attentive than any restaurant I've been to in a long time and the restaurant has a nice ambiance. But the food is absolutely wonderful.........perfectly spiced, the vegetables are well prepared, cooked to perfection, the dishes are creative and the presentation is beautiful. Overall, we all enjoyed the meal.

Good food but slow. This places is pretty good. The red curry was good maybe a little watery than it should be but still good. The catfish with eggplant was good along with the mussels. Don't get the garlic chicken. The service is slow but definitely one whould try this place.

No need to travel to Thailand.. I have been eating at Siam Bay for over 4 years. It's worth the drive from Hayward. The chef knows how to get the most flavor from the ingredients. There is NO "one sauce fits all dishes" here. Each dish is prepaired with fresh daily ingredients. If you like your food really spicey, just tell the waiter/waitress to make it "pet mahk". If you have any questions, just ask any of the staff. They will take the time to give you a good explanation.

9. This is THAI FOOD. They make their own curry paste. Jungle Soup is incredible. Homemade Curry is going to be hard to find. Why bother waiting in line for Le Cheval.
