Celeb Stylist Returns to Oakland. Finally! Hair's best kept secret, celebrity stylist Tina Edwards has come back home. After spending the last couple of years training other stylists, working runways and doing print ads, local hair phenom has made her way back to the Glenview district. Working at Dina's Salon, an Oakland icon which has been around for almost 50 years, Tina has brought her flair for style back to the bay. The salon is not fancy but it is homey. Smiles greet you as you walk in and you can tell that the people that work there really enjoy what they do. Prices are incredible and the service is top notch. You will not be disapointed with your experience there.

Beautiful organic skin care. I love the skin care part of Dina's. Dina is a great lady, but the skin care portion is totally separate. Amanda downstairs does the skin care stuff with organic products. She's really sweet, a young and beautiful person who really knows her stuff on skin care and even nutrition that helps the skin. I highly recommend her and her facials, and like her eyebrow waxing too.

I tried the Venus Facial because a friend bought me a birthday gift certificate, and it was a truly magical experience. My skin is still soft and dewy a few days later and I am going to continue seeing her for regular facials and using the Hungarian line of organics (Ilihe I think it's called?).
