Only company that knows what it's doing. Although I had difficulty reaching and scheduling this company, they seem to be the only Bay Area pump company that is consistently good at what it does. Once you get them to your problem, they will fix it.…
Will not be a repeat customer.
After working for over 15 years, the pump for our patio waterfall failed. I had East Bay Pump come out and install a new pump. It lasted 5 years and then failed. I called East Bay Pump again, and
they came out and installed another new pump. They sent me a bill for $900. I complained about the cost since It was almost twice what it had cost the previous time. Plus they had never given me an estimate re what a new pump was going to cost. In response to my complaint, they reduced the bill by $200., which I appreciated. Then the new pump failed after 9 months. Since it was under a 1 year warrently, I called them. They came out and installed another new pump. Then they sent me a bill for $380. I was astonished as I have never had to pay anything for an appliance or anything else to be repaired when it was under warrently. I called them and they told me that this was their policy. I told them that I was tearing up the bill and throwing it away. If they wanted to collect $380., they should send it to the company that sold them a defective pump.
If you are going to use these people, get firm estimates and realize that they are going to send you a big bill if whatever they install breaks down even if it is under the warrenty period.…
