Love My Wedding Pictures!!. I had used Great Expressions for my January 2009 wedding and couldn't have been happier with them. The new owner photographed my wedding and sure came prepared! I had an incident happen with my train (someone stepped on it) and it ripped a bit! I was so upset but luckily she had some safety pins and fixed it and no one could tell the difference! :) I had so many compliments from guest of how friendly she was to them as well. I couldn't wait to see the images and when I saw them on my gallery online, I was so happy! They came out so beautiful! I ended up buying a magazine album and my parents surprised us with a canvas. OMG! My husband and I looked like models on the canvas! It was a piece of art, I didn't know I could look so good! LOL

I do understand that this was owned by someone else years back, but that shouldn't reflect on the new owners work. I had ordered a coffee table-style album about 2 months after my wedding and asked for her to design it herself. I mean we were told it could take up to a year after the wedding to have everything and we had it before that. We didn't sit and wait a long time after the wedding to place orders, we placed them quickly because we knew when the busy season started, (they book up fast) and it would take a bit longer obviously. And you know, even if I waited a full year or so after I placed my order, it would be SO worth it.

I will be recommending her to all of my family and friends!!!

Do NOT use this photographer. We hired this photographer in October 2007 for our daughter's wedding. They came and took the photos. The photographer took forever to get the photos done at the wedding. My husband even had to get rude with him to get him to finish. Now two years later we still don't have our daughter's wedding album. We've been told the business has changed hands and there's issues with that. But that's not our problem. We kept up our end of the contract and paid for the services. Services we didn't receive. My advice...find another photographer.

Great Photographer and NEW owner. Oh my gosh, I can't say enough about this place! When you first walk in, it's so cozy and warm! My fiancee and I didn't even want to leave! I first found out about them from a friend of mine who used them for her wedding a few years back. They weren't totally happy with the guy photographer they had (David), but I heard the price was right and when I checked out their website, it was totally amazing! They looked nothing like my friends wedding pictures! I called and it turned out the previous owner and her daughter were no longer there. They sold the business to a lady named Marlena. When I went in for my consultation, my friend also came with us and she is now wishing she had Marlena for her wedding pictures. She is so friendly and laid-back and it's obvious she loves her job! She's already done our engagement pictures and they are gorgeous! I'm so excited about my upcoming wedding and I know she'll be doing a wonderful job!
