Best Place to get away from the D*uche Bags down the street.. Love this place. Don't go that often anymore but still enjoy Mr. Lucky's none the less. You are able to getaway from ever growing "new "WC scene. The people who look like they came in from Richmond, Antioch, Bay point, Pittsburg, the rapper hip hop crowd. The people who look like they wanted to kick it in SF or Oakland but their BART ticket didn't have enough money on it. Ok, Ok, maybe i'm going a little over board, but the drinks are strong, the bouncers and Bar Tenders are AWESOME. And the Jukebox Rocks! Go Lucks to get your drink on.

Love it - get there early on party nights. Best jukebox in town - they should make it mandatory to play Journey at 11:30p on Friday nights. I think it came on both times I've been there at the exact time. And while everyone was in their own conversations, suddenly everyone is singing, the bartenders are going nuts and people outside don't mind waiting in line for 5 minutes. If you love dives, this is your place. I had no probs with the bartenders - were actually buying us beers at one point (pays to have hotties with you - and regulars). would go back for some fun any time.

Can I give a NEGATIVE rating for service?. I can't say enough horrible stuff about this place. The bartender denied our designated driver a non-alcoholic drink. Another member of our party received a smirk when the same bartender did not get his tip as promptly for drinks as he thought he deserved. Later on in the evening a bartender was not happy about being asked for napkins from a female member of our group and had napkins thrown down on the bar in disgust to her. There are so many other GREAT places to go in Walnut Creek... there is absolutely NO reason to go here. There are another 5 or 6 great bars and places to go within a block from here. Find somewhere else to go! Save yourself!

Terrific Food!. Mr. Lucky's Bar and Grill is a great club for the younger set in the evening, but the real surprise was the FABULOUS food that they serve 7 days a week during the DAY! My half pound Bleu Bacon Burger with fries was absolutely delicious, and for only $8.50, it was a bargain. Nice fresh fruit wedges on the side too! My friend had one of their daily hot specials, the Roasted Rosemary Chicken with Buttered Parsley Potatoes, and it was fall off the bone delicious! A HALF chicken too! The service was very friendly and good!

It's like an old time neighborhood restaurant where 'everybody knows your name"! Lot's of regulars, and business people during the day! And they serve Breakfast too, on Saturdays AND Sundays! On our next visit we had the Eggs Benedict and it was wonderful. I highly recommend this Bar & Grill!
