Fujian in dwnt Walnut Creek has $6.95 Lunch Specials!. Hmmm...want to find a place for lunch during the work-week w/o having to spend $10 for it in downtown Walnut Creek & actually get full? Then you should consider Fujian's Lunch Box special for $6.95! LOCATION: On Bonanza St btw Locust & N Main St; right next to Havana Restaurant. About 3-blocks walking distance from Broadway Plaza Shopping Center.

RESTAURANT: Spacious & clean. Plenty of 4-seater tables w/ armless chairs. Prob 5-7 spacious booths also. Small Sushi Bar area, but there is one. "Chef's Special Sushi Rolls" menu range from $7.95 - $10.95 & "Fujian Specialty" entree menu range from $7.95 - $10.95

CUST SVC: Simple, polite, & thorough. Immediately greeted & seated upon entrance. Not heavily crowded, but a few patrons already sitting in for lunch. After we placed our order, waitress came back w/ some Edame for our table, although we didn't order; guess Edame treated like breadNbutter for patrons =) Prompt w/ bringing our drinks/food, prob 1-2 check-in during our lunch...although had to flag the lady down to give us our tab when we were done.

LUNCH BOX: Lunch for 3 on Thur (9/3/09) just before the Labor Day Weekend, & we all opted for the Lunch Box *tee-hee*. My friend got the Chicken Teriyaki & CA Roll, my colleague got the Beef Tempura & Tempura, & I got Sesame Chicken & CA Roll..all served w/ steamed rice & salad. Food was fresh, hot, good, & definitely plentiful for 1-person =)

FINAL BITE: Our final tab came to about $24-n-change for 3 lunch boxes, 1 soda, & 2 waters. Would I come back? Absolutely, & I'd recommend the Lunch Box *tee-hee*…

I won't go again. As a Japanese, I did not enjoy their food at all. Sushi and sashimi were not fresh (but averagely priced). Donburi was not properly seasoned. (they seem to use same sukiyaki taste sauce for every donburi). This was the first time I and my brother got disappointed from a Japanese restaurant around Walnut Creek.…
