Excellent sushi, friendly staff. Kaiwa has become one of my favorite sushi places! When I moved to the east bay from the city I thought there wouldn't be great sushi restaurants but I was wrong. Their sushi is always fresh and the specialty rolls are awesome. I definitely recommend this restaurant to any sushi fanatic.

Good sushi at a good price. Unpretentious, nice dining area complements great tasting food. Try one of their specialty rolls and you won't be disappointed.

The BEST w/o the cost. The rice is always fluffy and fresh, not that dried out stuff you get at some places. Their warm sushi and rolls are just to die for. Try their Dragon Roll or the Van Roll.

Great special rolls!. The Van roll is the best! Great fried rolls! Very unique. Happy hour is good too...great value!
