Unreliable. This kennel was not reliable, and didn't honor its promises. We trusted our beloved dog to them, and counted on them. We were DISAPPOINTED, at best. Find a trustworthy, reliable place and you'll not worry about whether your pet is having fun while you're away. There are lots of great kennels who honor commitments and don't make you feel like they're doing you a favor (while charging a princely sum).

No one knows dogs like Canyonwyck!!. Canyonwyck is a warm welcoming place for dogs. We have brought all four of our dogs there over the past 10-15 years.

We had a female rhodesian ridgeback who could be very aggressive with strangers. There was never ever a problem. They treated her with respect. They handled her without fear. As a sensitive dog we worried about her eating and getting exercise. They had no problems with her and never saw any aggression. We were asked to bring in smaller bedding that would fit into a washer. It was definitely used and returned clean to us.

Our 90lb st. bernard/golden retriever mix used to bound out of the car and couldn't wait to get into the kennels. He loved it at Canyonwyck.

The rottweilers our first, then a second were always very well mannered and happy to see Carol. Most people treat those dogs with fear and it makes the dogs nervous. Not at Canyonwyck. There was no fear, just love and respect and the dogs responded beautifully to it.

And our Mastiff mix had a great time being kenneled with her rotty buddy. so nice that these two could be together as they are thick as thieves. We were asked if they had any feeding issues beforehand. They don't as they've been fed together all of their lives, so it all was perfect.

With all of our dogs I swore they returned home more calm and better behaved than when they left.

Canyonwyck is family run by true dog lovers and experts with tons of experience.

Don't leave you pet here!. Strange that my Yelp rating of this place never appeared on line... wonder how many others with bad experiences have been left out? PLEASE beware of this place. Both of my dogs came out of this place with severe eye infections due to the filthy condtions. Both had yellow and green puss dripping out of their eyes when I picked them up and had to be taken to the vet for medications. Good thing I was only gone for a week or they could have gone blind from the infection! My dogs have never had any eye problems before being taken to this place. BEWARE, even if your dog is current on vaccinations, they can get sick here!

Sounds great doesn't it? Boarding and training too. Well, after spending almost $200 on "training", there is no difference at all in my dogs training, in fact one of them seems to have actually forgotten what she already knew when I dropped her off here. Don't waste your money on "training" that your dogs will not receive. . and don't bother taking in your dogs nice soft dog bed for them to lay on instead of the filthy concrete floor, they never put them in with the dogs because "the dogs will tear them up". They say the beds are put in the kennels at night, don't belive it. My came back in the same freshly laundered conditon smelling like my laundry soap and with the brand new stuffing still fluffy and obviously never ever slept on by my dogs. One of my dogs lost 10 pounds in a week and is now food aggressive. My dogs were kenneled together and I was told they would be fed apart as I requested, no way they were fed apart! One of them clearly had her food taken by the other all week. She is so thin that she looks terrible! I can't believe she lost this much weight in just a week!. It sure sounded like a great place for boarding, if only they actually did what they promised. The eye infections were over the top! If you care about your dog, don't leave them here. Now I know and so do you.
